Who I am

Who this is for
My newsletter and Teacher's Reports are written for adults. Please only sign up if you're 18 or over.
What I collect, and why
- Your email address and, if you give it, your first name, when you sign up for a Teacher's Report or the newsletter. I use them to send you the report you asked for and my newsletter.
- Which report you signed up for (for example "magnesium"), so I can tell you when that report is updated.
- Whether you open or click my emails, which my email provider records. I use this to see what's useful and to tidy up inactive addresses.
I don't ask for health information on these forms. Please don't send me medical details by email; I can't give personal medical advice.
Lawful basis
Consent. The sign-up form tells you that signing up means you'll get the report and my email. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email, or by emailing me.
Who processes it for me
- Kit (my email provider) stores your details and sends the emails. Kit is based in the USA. Transfers from the UK are covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement in Kit's Data Processing Addendum (kit.com/dpa).
- Cloudflare hosts this website and may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
I never sell or share your details with advertisers or supplement companies.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or until I remove inactive subscribers (I review this at least once a year). After you unsubscribe, I keep only what's needed to make sure you're not emailed again.
Cookies
This website doesn't set cookies or use analytics.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how I use it. Email me and I'll reply within one month.
